The Postilion training division delivers a range of courses designed to meet your training needs, whether that is learning how to operate a Postilion system most effectively, install and configure products from scratch, or even develop custom interfaces and plug-ins.
Four levels of Postilion training are offered, addressing distinct audiences:
- Postilion Portal Training (PPT) Portal training introduces participants to the functionality provided by the Postilion Portal and is aimed at non-technical users such as call center representatives and supervisors.
- Postilion User Training (PUT) User training provides a modular introduction to the Postilion product family. It is aimed primarily at systems administrators and operators across the EFT spectrum (financial institutions, retailers, EFT processors, telecom operators, etc).
- Postilion Specialization Training (PST) Specialization training provides in-depth coverage of particular Postilion products and is aimed at personnel who need to be able to install and then configure these products. Specialization courses typically require participants to have completed a PUT course.
- Postilion SDK Training SDK training is aimed at developers who want to learn to use the Postilion Software Development Kit to extend either Postilion Realtime or Postilion Office. These courses are only suitable for participants who have a Java development background.
Postilion courses are instructor-led and are developed and delivered by in-house trainers with expert product knowledge. All Postilion courses have a practical orientation and include hands-on, skills-based exercises (labs). Participants work with representative installations delivered using virtual machines for a consistent training experience.
Materials for each course include a comprehensive training manual, accompanying PowerPoint presentation, and a course feedback form. Postilion user training courses end with an optional evaluation test, while specialization courses have an in-depth summary exercise intended to assess how well participants can put what they have learned into practice.
User training, specialization training, and SDK training are presented in face-to-face classes of 8 to 10 participants. Sessions vary from 1 to 5 days and can be presented at your training facilities, or at Postilion training centers located in the following cities:
- Boca Raton, Florida, USA
- Chertsey, London, UK
- Cape Town, South Africa
- Johannesburg, South Africa
Portal training is delivered as instructor-led webinar sessions, allowing participants to learn from the convenience of their office or home. Sessions vary from 2 to 3 hours and are usually presented to 3 to 5 participants. Webinar sessions combine lectures and demonstrations with hands-on exercises in which participants work on a fully-configured training installation.
