Monday Companion Tour
Fredericksburg Shopping & Winery Tour
The coach will depart from the hotel with a certified tour guide to escort your companion to the Texas Hill Country.

While traveling for approximately 60 minutes, the tour will make the first winery stop at Sister Creek Vineyards in Sisterdale, Texas (population 25). Here you will find traditional French wines planted in the vineyards which are located between the cypress lined east and West Sister Creeks.

As the tour makes its way to Fredericksburg, the second stop will be Grape Creek Vineyards located in Pedernales Valley. These gently rolling hills are planted with 16 acres of French Vinifera grapes, an adjoining orchard also contains peaches and other fruits.

Upon arriving in Fredericksburg, the tour will stop at the third vineyard, Becker Vineyard. This vineyard was planted in 1992 and includes 36 acres of French vinifera grapes. Becker Vineyard currently boasts the largest underground wine cellar in Texas.

The tour then arrives in Fredericksburg, Texas. The town's rich heritage is based heavily on German immigrants who settled in the early 1800's. There are numerous historical buildings, restaurants and museums, all are located along the Main Street in a four-block area. Fredericksburg is a delightful place to find unusual items and trinkets from the Hill Country and from Texas.

After lunch the tour continue their exploration of Fredericksburg and then board the coach for the return trip home.

Tuesday Companion Tour
Shopper's Delight
From the hotel the companions will take a short coach ride to the unique Artisan's Alley. This hidden treasure made from old railcars and buildings is a shopper's delight. Guests can explore specialty boutiques, candle shops, paper stores, one of a kind jewelry shops, and much more. Apple Annie's Tea Room is the place to grab lunch.

After re-boarding the bus, it's back downtown for more shopping. The experienced tour guide will drive the scenic route to enlighten the group on some of the history that makes up San Antonio. Market Square is the final destination of the afternoon. This is the oldest and largest Mexican Market under one roof north of the Mexican border. In addition to the market stores, there are other merchants and art galleries around the square. Two of San Antonio's oldest and most famous Mexican restaurants are in the market so your companion can stop off for a Mexican pastry or traditional margarita.
